• NAFEMS NORDIC Seminar, Helsinki, Finland, 21-22 May, 2009. The EGI Design Study had a joint booth with PRACE to present the EGI project to industrials at this seminar, organised by the International Association for the Engineering Analysis Community. 
• Supercomputing SC'08,  Austin, Texas, USA, 15-24 November, 2008.
• 3^rd EGEE User Forum, Clermont-Ferrand, France, 11-14 February, 2008. The EGI Design Study had a stand in the event (S11). Project director, Dr. Dieter Kranzlmuller gave a talk about the EGI on Monday 11.
• Supercomputing SC'07 Reno, USA, 10-16 November, 2007
  EGI Design Study had a presentation stand (2523) at the SC07 event on November 10-16, 2007 in Reno-Sparks Convention Center.
