EGI Budapest Workshop

October 2, 2007, Budapest, Hungary. The 1st EGI workshop was held during the EGEE'07 conference at the Europe Congress Centre, Room NIZZA in Budapest. The 1st EGI workshop brought together representatives of the involved parties to assess the status of National Grid Initiatives and the progress towards the establishment of the European Grid Initiatives organisation. The initial set of use cases was also presented and input and comments were solicited.

Europe Congress Centre is situated on the Buda side of the Hungarian capital. It takes about 50 minutes to get there from the Budapest Ferihegy Airport and about 15-20 minutes from the downtown of Buda.
