EGI Policy Board Meeting in Prague, January 2009

The first EGI Policy Board meeting of 2009 was organized in Prague (Czech Republic) on the 20th of January.

The EGI Policy Board endorsed in Prague the EGI Blueprint, a document prepared by the EGI Design Study (EGI_DS) team, and detailing the transition towards the EGI model.

The 5th PB meeting venue was the Blue room in Carolinum, a historic building of Charles University in Prague. Carolinum is located in the centre of Old City, the true heart of gothic Prague. History of Carolinum goes back to 14th century when the new-founded Charles University bought and reconstructed the Rotler house to set up its headquarters. Since this time for more than 600 years the rector office is situated here.
