REACHING PRAGUE

International Prague Airport Ruzyně is located 15 km from the downtown. The most comfortable way how to reach City Centre is taxi. The price of transport from the airport to the venue or to hotels should be about 15 Euro. It is recommended that the taxi price is agreed on in advance (see e.g. taxi in Prague).

Another possibility is to use the public transportation. Take bus number 119 from the airport (station "Letiště Ruzyně" is in front of arrival hall) to the last station "Dejvická". Then change to metro green line A and go to station "Můstek". You need one ticket for the public transport for less than one Euro (see below).

By Train
Prague can be easily reached by rail. Terminals of the Central Railway Station and the Holešovice Railway Station are joined to the Metro station (red line C). To get to the venue go to station "Muzeum". There change to green line "A" and go to station "Můstek".

General Information
There is a rich system of public transport in Prague. It combines three main types of transportation – subway (Metro), trams and buses. Metro is the best and fastest way how to reach the long-distance locations, trams and buses may be used to finalize the trip.

The price for a basic ticket is 20 CZK (about 0,7 Euro). You have to mark it when entering the Metro area, tram or bus. It is valid for 75 minutes (90 during weekends) from the timestamp and allows you to change the lines and transportation types at your will. Single ticket is sufficient for the whole trip in most cases (the only limit is the duration of your ride).

Do not care about transport zones. The whole Prague is in zone 0, so single-zone tickets are suitable for your needs. You can buy the tickets at most newspaper kiosks or coin machines available at bus/tram stations or by the Metro entrances.

HOW TO REACH CAROLINUM BY METRO

Use Metro line A or B and go to station Můstek. If you arrive by line B we recommend to pass through to the line A before you leave the subway. Leave the Metro in the direction Můstek. Use the escalator in face of you (1). Turn right when you leave the subway and go through the Na můstku street. On its end turn right again to Rytířská street (2). Continue straight through the Rytířská street and Ovocný trh (3). On the T-crossing turn left to Celetná (4). The entrance is on the left side (5).
